Double-Drum Mine Hoist, Enabling Integrated Hoisting of Personnel, Vehicles, and Ore/Materials

Operating conditions

Fixed installation in a ground-based winch house; the vertical shaft is approximately 450 m deep and is responsible for the routine hoisting of ore, personnel, and materials.

Pain point

Customers require a “complete package” —not merely an upgrade to the host system, but also integrated electrical control, braking, depth indication, and monitoring systems; they demand centralized control of the operator console, precise position display, safe and reliable operation, and reduced reliance on manual underground inspections.

Supporting equipment

Double-coil winding mine hoist, equipped with a PLC-based variable-frequency intelligent control console, a hydraulic braking station, a portal-type depth indicator, an industrial video monitoring system, and safety guardrails.

Services

well depth and load capacity calculation and equipment selection; complete machine manufacturing; integrated electrical control system commissioning; factory no-load and full-load tests; on-site installation guidance; control console commissioning and commissioning; operator training; and long-term spare parts supply.

Project outcomes

The entire set of equipment was successfully installed and commissioned in a single operation; the cage position is displayed in real time with meter-level accuracy; centralized control is provided from the control room alongside on-site video monitoring; startup and shutdown are smooth, and braking is reliable; the system has now been officially put into production operation.
